We love Google photos as much as you do. That’s why we want to give you the opportunity to add your beautiful Google photos into your PastBook photo book. This is the only thing that connects us to Google Photos. PastBook is not affiliated, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Google or Google Photos. The official Google Photos website is photos.google.com. The name “Google Photos” as well as related names, marks, emblems and images are registered trademarks of Google Inc.
With PastBook, you can create a photo book importing the pictures directly from the Google Photos library, there is no need to download them on your hard drive! In order to print your Google Photos, follow these simple steps.
First, make sure that your Google Drive is set up with your Google Photos folder. To do this, go to drive.google.com and click on “Settings”.
You’ll see a table with all the settings available. Scroll down a bit and see the box “Create a Google Photos folder – Automatically put your Google Photos into a folder in My Drive”. Check the box and click “Done”.
Now your Google Photos folder is synchronised with your Drive, and you will see it on the right side when you are browsing through Google Drive.
Go to PastBook’s website and click “Create”.
Log in with your Facebook account or email and click “Upload your pictures”.
On the left, you will see all the options from where you can pull photos. Select “Google Drive”, and you will see all the folders on your Google Drive that contain photos. Click on “Google Photos”.
Your Google Photos are neatly organised by year and then subdivided into groups: each month in a separate folder.
Click on the “Grid” button for a better view.
Select photos you want to include in your book and hit the blue button in the bottom right corner.
NOTE: You can import pictures from different folders and multiple sources in one session: while the files are uploading in the background, you can continue browsing and selecting more content.
Choose how you want your pictures to appear in the book (1 or 2 per page) and click “Continue”.
Voilà! Your book is ready!
Browse through its pages, hover your mouse over any photo and you’ll see a pencil and a trash bin. Pencil means “customize”, trash bin means “delete”.
If you click on the pencil, you’ll be able to rotate the photo, write a caption to it, set it full-page or minimize it, remove or set it as a cover.
For extra customizations click “Customize” button in the upper right corner. Now you can add more moments to your PastBook, change or remove the cover, show or hide titles and dates, rearrange the photos (chronologically, manually or reverse order), change the layout of the book and more! You can also add more photos from any source and device, anytime you want.
Don’t forget to share your photo book with your friends on Twitter and Facebook! You can also invite them to upload their pictures to your album by simply sharing the link to the book with them.
Click “Preview” when you are ready, browse the book, hit the green “Buy Printed” button and proceed to checkout. Before buying your book you can upgrade it by changing its size, adding a personal quote and customizing the back cover.
Your photos are printed in a professionally crafted photo album and can be quickly delivered to any part of the world!
