When planning your trip, picking the right destination is one of the most important things. Some places are famous for their rich culture, others – for breathtaking landscapes. We picked the best travel destinations for those who can’t imagine a trip without a camera (or at least a fully charged smartphone with a lot of memory). If you want to have a time of your life and at the same time, come back with amazing pictures of your journeys, consider one of the following places.
Although the warmth in the relationship between the US and Cuba is generally a good thing, it can (and probably will) change the way the island looks like for good. But there is still a chance to witness Cuba’s exceptional charm: old American cars roaming the streets, beautiful colonial buildings, cheerful locals smoking cigars on the porches of their houses, children playing baseball on the streets and of course, spectacular nature. No matter if you are a professional photographer or just a regular tourist with a smartphone, the island’s atmosphere, and incredible light will make your pictures look outstanding.
Traveling to Venice will most probably result in a wonderful journey, no matter what exactly you are going to do there. Anyhow, there are some hotspots in the city that we highly recommend visiting. First of all, go on top of St Mark’s Basilica in the Piazza San Marco and enjoy the jaw-dropping panoramic view of this beautiful city. Walk around Piazza San Marco, take a stroll along lively Riva Degli Schiavoni (waterfront promenade) and end up getting lost among the numerous streets and canals. Venice is incredibly photogenic and, as a real model, loves admiration. Don’t forget to “Aaw” all the time, and the city will repay you with the most precious memories and incredible photos.
India is the land of contrasts, extremes, and opposites – that’s why we couldn’t pick just one spot, city or state to travel to. Wherever you go in this beautiful country, you will definitely have an adventure of the lifetime. From steamy forests to snowy Himalayan mountains, from sun-washed beaches to crowded cities – India has it all. Exquisitely carved temples, abundant natural beauties, glorious food, unique history, rich colorful culture full of exciting mysteries and of course people – noisy and energetic, and at the same time so spiritual and mysterious. If you are looking for an unforgettable adventure – go to India; but be prepared: this trip can change you forever!
Torres del Paine, Chile
Torres del Paine National Park, in Chile’s Patagonia region, is a hiker’s dream. It is known for its snow-peaked mountains, dazzling waterfalls, flowering meadows, electric-blue glaciers and the turquoise water of the Rio Baker. If you are lucky and the weather is clear, you can enjoy shimmering panoramas from any spot, and every picture you take will look like a professional shot of a National Geographic photographer. However, the weather here is unpredictable and can change multiple times a day: don’t forget warm clothes and a thermos with some hot tea.
Favorite city of many and many photographers offers numerous possibilities to snap amazing pictures worth exhibiting at Hamiltons Gallery. Architectural and urban photographers love it for ultra modern skyscrapers that border with medieval castles; nature and landscape photographers admire London’s scenic parks. Streets full of interesting characters wearing exotic clothes, unexpected performances in the middle of a square, raging markets with all sorts of things – you can photograph London every day of your life and still, only scratch the surface.
Chefchaouen (Chaouen), Morocco
One of the most popular destinations among photographers, this artsy, blue-washed mountain village located in the Northwest of Morocco simply strikes you with its authentic beauty. The city is called “The Blue Pearl of Morocco” for a reason – the ancient part of Chefchaouen (“old town” or medina) is covered in all shades of blue paint. Wondering the town’s narrow streets feels like a breath of fresh air – the blue color symbolizes the sky and heaven and is believed to bring harmony and peace. Needless to say that almost each photo that you snap in Chefchaouen looks like a piece of art.
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Santa Fe is timeless. The oldest state capital in the US, it has preserved many of its original buildings with unique architecture style. At the same time, the city gives an opportunity to capture a slice of modern life in the American southwest and also has an easy access to breathtaking desert landscapes. Santa Fe is the city of colors: turquoise-painted window frames against adobe walls, the deep blue sky against terracotta red and brown sand, modern buildings against thriving art markets. This city will keep on surprising you, every minute revealing something magical.
Tanzania has everything you think about when hear the word “Africa”. Wildlife, beaches, ruins, Mt Kilimanjaro, friendly people, fascinating cultures – Tanzania has all these and even more! Enjoy the views of idyllic beaches of the country’s Indian Ocean coastline, admire graceful, forested flanks of Mt. Kilimanjaro, meet red-cloaked Maasai warriors and of course, don’t miss the safari. Elephants, zebras, lions and antelopes will be your models, wild sun-drenched savannah will be your playground. This land of Lion King will definitely give you memories that you will keep for the lifetime.
